It's not too late! Finish up your science fair project by Friday 2/23

Our science fair project is due on Friday 2/23 along with Homework: Influential African American.  Please get your Science Fair Notebook signed by your parent and Ms. Tagger by Friday.  Please see Ms. Tagger before school (7:50), during class, at lunch, and after school if you have any questions.  Feel free to email me as well at [email protected]. 

Use our time in the computer lab Tues - Thurs and time at home to get things done for your project.

Parents and students,

Unfortunately we did not have a chance to complete our Friday grade check sheet in class due to my illness Thursday afternoon.  Feel free to get a jump start on the attached grade check sheet, or do it in class with us on Tuesday.  Don't forget to meet in computer lab #606 Tues - Thurs.

 

Find an influential inventor and write a short biography of their life and their contributions to the scientific community. Extra Credit: complete a biography for a second inventor for +10 points E.C. Due Friday 2/23.  Both the extra credit and the regular homework must be turned in at the same time.

Students: Please click on the attached agenda and complete your classwork for 2/7 and 2/8.  Please be ready for peer checks (science fair) on Friday in place of our normal grade check sheet (we will continue next week Friday).

 

Parents: Please check important science fair reminders on page 3 - 4 that we went over Monday and Tuesday in class. Suggestions for helping your child improve their questions/problem, and hypothesis. Feel free to email me with questions at anytime.

 

 

Complete the homework on the worksheet (please print yourself), OR in your science notebook (in paragraph form). You do not need to type your biography, and you do not need to answer all of the questions. Extra credit: Select an additional person that you are interested in learning about (any African American that has had a positive impact on society).
