Inside this folder you will find all of the assignments leading up to the Informative Essay Extended Writing Project.  As you are participating in your lessons always keep in mind you will be concluding the unit with a writing assignment.  You will be writing an Informative Essay which addresses the following prompt:

 

Write an informative essay analyzing how the Civil War changed Americans and their ideas about freedom.  

 

It will be a five paragraph essay that requires you to use at LEAST two unit texts as evidence to support your analysis.  Focus on freedom - freedom for all American's - how did people's ideas change.
