Seventh graders that have Mr. Hernandez will be swimming beginning Monday, September 17th. Periods will be shorter on Monday so we will simply be taking our swimming test with Coach Nicole and finish with laps using the basic strokes.
Please remember to bring a towel and wear appropriate swimwear for class. Sandals, goggles, and rash guards are highly recommended to protect against heat and the sun.
Those who do not dress out (without a medical excuse) will be expected to do exercises with the equivalent demand and rigor as swimming. Not dressing (without a medical excuse) will also impact daily dress and participation scores.
Remember, that not many intermediate school are lucky enough to have a pool, so let's enjoy the water while the weather is nice!
