Homework:  Grammar Packet - all pages must be complete - due tomorrow!

In Support we completed a review in preparation for the test.  The review is attached along with the answers to the review.  In preparation I suggest making a note card of the important points Mrs. Bucklew covered in class today.  An example of a study note card is attached with the answers to the review.  

Make sure you get your Essay signed and returned - it is now late. 

Get Yellow log signed by a parent

Finish grammar lesson #23 - entire grammar packet due on 11/21

Read for 20 minutes

Complete lesson 21 in your grammar packet if  you did not complete it in class. 

Entire grammar packet is due completed on November 21 - no extensions. 

Grammar Unit 2 Test on November 21

Signed Narrative Essay is due TOMORROW!

Tomorrow you have your Novel Celebration!  Make sure you fill out your yellow log with the title of your novel, author, and number of pages.  Have your parent sign your yellow log.  Bring your book to class.  Spend some time thinking about your novel.  You should be able to identify the setting, the main characters, the conflict in the story and how that conflict is solved.  Be prepared to write a summary of your novel.  

 

If you did not finish grammar lesson #21 in class you need to finish it for homework.  The entire packet is due on November 21 and you will have a final Unit 2 grammar test.  

 

You have worked hard - end the trimester strong!

Be aware your assessment on your independent reading novel will be on WEDNESDAY!  Spend some time preparing for your assessment by identifying the main characters in your book, the setting, conflict, how the conflict is solved and why teens your age might be interested in reading the novel you selected.  Be ready to write!  

 

Also at this point in time you should have completed lesson 20 in your grammar packet.

Complete Grammar lesson 19 if not completed in class.  

Grammar Packet completed will be due on November 21

Homework: Make sure you are reading your independent reading novel - there will be a test.  Complete Grammar lesson 19 if you did not finish it today in class.  There will be a Grammar test on 11/21 - the entire grammar packet will be due on that day.   

 

If you did not find five facts for your research topic today in class you should finish that tonight.
