SCHOOL NEWS:

  • APRIL is THE MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD, and this year’s theme is “Military Child: Brave, Fearless, and Resilient.” Purple is the color to honor these brave kids, who knowingly or unknowingly sacrifice so much alongside their brave parents, who proudly serve our nation.

This term “term “military brat” is a badge of pride worn by generations of kids who traveled the world with their parents, moving into adulthood with the knowledge that they have the strength to handle anything. Military children deal with separations, deployments, frequent moves and even their parents injuries as part of the life that they were born into or entered with their families.

As we continue to celebrate:

TODAY at Lunch    Field Day Military Obstacle Course and Relay Race

TOMORROW           Kind Deed Day

FRIDAY                     Red White & Blue Dress Up Day

Please continue to bring in canned goods, non-perishables and new or gently worn clothing throughout the week, and drop them in the office in the donation bin for Project Hope that is being run by Addie Hoyt!
