SCHOOL NEWS:

  • APRIL is THE MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD, and this year’s theme is “Military Child: Brave, Fearless, and Resilient.” Purple is the color to honor these brave kids, who knowingly or unknowingly sacrifice so much alongside their brave parents, who proudly serve our nation.

Each year, the DOD joins national, state and local governments, schools, military service organizations, companies and private citizens in celebrating military children and the sacrifices they make. Take a moment to say hi and introduce yourself, and acknowledge any and all of these brave kids before school, after or during lunch. Even better, get to know them, and perhaps you’ll make a new friend!

Please continue to bring in canned goods, non-perishables and new or gently worn clothing throughout the week, and drop them in the office in the donation bin for Project Hope that is being run by Addie Hoyt!
