Today in class you did a test review. Your homework is the Chapter 9 Test A worksheet (both sides)
I am attaching a Chapter 9 test note sheet. As I told you in Support it was hard to create a note sheet so feel free to add anything you do not feel confident with. You will need to know the following:
- create a scatter plot when given a table of data. Label the x axis and the y axis and plot the points.
- determine if the plotted points represent a positive, negative or no relationship.
- identify if the relationship is linear or non-linear (do the dots form a line?)
- Identify an outlier
- Plot points on a line - draw a best fit line - create an equation that represents the best fit line
- In order to create an equation students need to identify the y intercept - the two points closest to the line. Using the two points they need to find the slope of the line. Once they have this information they can put it into y = mx + b
- You will be given data and will need to create a two way table that includes marginal frequencies (totals) - make sure to label the table.
- You will be given a two way table with data missing - you will need to fill in the missing data. After filling in the missing data you will need to answer questions.
- They will need to use the data to determine percentages
