Students took the Re-take for Etape Premilinar Friday.  If their grade was higher than the EP Quiz and EP Test combined, their new score will be replace the old scores. You will see in Aeries NA for scores that will no longer count. If their new score is lower than the EP Quiz and EP test combined, then those score will stand and the new exam will show NA and will not count. 

 

FOR THIS WEEK ONLY: students will be allowed to hand in MISSING (not "0"s however) for full credit by 10/12. After that time, the score will convert to 0.

Presentations were postponed.  Students should be ready to present anytime this week.  Focus today was to prepare for the exam tomorrow. Students received their quizzes back and were asked to create a study guide to prepare them for the exam.  Study guide requirements are posted on September 19 homework due date.

PARENTS STUDENTS RECEIVED THEIR GRADED EP QUIZZES TODAY.   SINCE A NUMBER OF STUDENTS DID NOT DO WELL.  WE, AS A CLASS, AGREED TO POSTPONE THE PRESENTATIONS TO THE END OF THIS WEEK AND TO FOCUS ON PREPARING FOR THE EXAM.  TO PREPARE THE STUDENTS, I INSTRUCTED THEM TO CREATE A STUDY GUIDE WHICH COVERS THE CONCEPTS/VOCABULARY IN THIS CHAPTER.

Presentations did not take place on Monday, September 17, 2018. Presentations will take place on Tuesday, September 18th. 

 

If they did not finish interviewing their classmates, they were instructed to complete this on Friday and to practice their presentations for the remainder of the period.  Students need to turn in the handout with the questions and answers to the presentation on the day of the presentation.  They will not be able to read from the handout.  However, they can bring an index card consisting of bullet points (reminder) of what the student will discuss.
