  1. 1. Read and Complete Stemscopedia - Inheritance and Genetic Variation 
  1. Do the Try Now activities at the bottom of reading. You NEED TO READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY!!!!  
  1. If you are not able to shade in the shapes on the pedigree chart you can just do it on a piece of scratch paper to help answer the questions below the chart. The scratch paper does not need to be turned in. 
  1. In the Pedigree Chart – the Father (blue square) has two recessive alleles (hh) and the mom (circle) has one Dominant allele and one recessive allele (Hh)

  1. In Question #2 the picture of fruit flies represents the organisms that reproduce. What do the letters represent? What the the Capital letters represent? What do the lower case letters represent? Write your answers in the box for Question #2

2. For the Brainstorm and Research Section. Make sure to record all research & information about the design of your flower. 
3. Design Your Plan - Be sure to include all the necessary components of the flower and label. Use color and do the best drawing you can.  
4.  Write a statement that includes what part of the flower design attracts the pollinator to your flower.
5.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE THE following portions of this assignment: Build and Test, Refine and Redesign, Retest and Finalize, or the Presentation Plan.
6. This Assignment is to be turned in on Friday April 10. Be sure to turn in the Stemscopedia Assignment at this time as well.
