Super Foods-Project Based Learning Assignment for Chef class. Due March 27th
Have you ever heard of something called Superfoods? Well, they’re super awesome, and today you’re going to use your super powers to explore the Internet and find out all that you can about Superfoods. Then you’re going to list as many as you can and then pick one to tell us about through a PowerPoint slide presentation that will be share with Mrs. C and the class. Each kitchen group will work on the slide presentation together. Make sure your name is on the slide you create. Each team member is required to produce one slide. These presentations will be shared in class. The presentations should be shared with me by March 20 and it is due March 27th.
After you’ve decided on your favorite superfood, you’re going to find a recipe that includes it that we can make here in the kitchen labs. Then we’ll vote as a class on our favorite, and go make it together! This will be an “Iron Chef” competition. Below you will find an outline that the group should follow for the slide presentation. One person in the group should create the PowerPoint and share it with each member in the group and also share it with me by March 20th so that I can see your progress on the presentation as the group works.
