Course Description

Literature, art, maps, and architecture: the world is filled with amazing things that allow us to look into and learn from our past. In our class, we will take a world tour that will enable us to journey to the ends of the Earth in search of these important artifacts.

Update from Mr. Hernandez

Happy Monday!

First, thank you for checking my Edlio page this week!  I am currently trying to make this transition as easy as possible for all of us.  I hope to find more ways to connect with students online to make your “class” experience more engaging and enjoyable.  Please continue to work with Edlio as much as possible, it will be the main point of reference from this point on. See below for today's work.

There are a few major points moving forward that:

  1. All exams have been postponed until further notice, but the Study Guides will still be posted and are to be completed by the given due dates.
  2. We will be beginning our Spring Research Project this week (Directions have been posted)
  3. All Passport Projects have been postponed.
  4. The Manor Diorama Project has been cancelled (Period 2)

Remember that I will be available during school hours via email.  I will try to respond to emails within 24 hours.

This too, shall pass.  I promise that we will get through 7th grade social studies just fine, if we do it together.

      • Due Friday 3/20 (10 points)
    2. See the Spring Research Project Directions:  Choose a Research Topic for the Spring Research Project - to be emailed to me for confirmation
