Assignment for Monday 4/6

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed your break and got a chance to take your minds off school. We will be starting chapter 15 which covers the Civil War. The Civil War marks an important dividing point in the history of the US.   
 
Here's your assignment for today:
1. Create a word document and title it "Chapter 15 intro." Make sure to include a proper heading (name/date/period)
2. Look back (skim) through chapters 8-14 in your book.
3. Pick 4 events that you believe lead to the outbreak of the Civil War. In a sentence or two, explain WHY you believe the event is important and WHY you chose it. Make sure to include the dates (year) each event took place.
4. Put your 4 events in chronological order (#1-4)
5. Submit the document to [email protected]

Hi Guys! I have posted the 14.3 powerpoint and questions on the resources page. Please complete the questions and submit them to [email protected].  I will begin organizing the resources page by individual assignments and not by chapter. Hopefully this will be easier to navigate.

Assignment for Monday 3/23

Hi Guys! I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe. We are starting a new chapter this week and you will begin submitting work to me through email. I have set up a gmail account that you will be submitting your work to.
 
1. Complete the attached fact hunt (it's also been posted to the resources page) You have three options:
A) Print it, fill it out and then scan it and submit
B) Answer the questions on a separate document and then submit. 
C) Complete it and take a picture and then submit. 
2. Whichever option you choose, you must submit the completed fact hunt with your FULL NAME and ASSIGNMENT TITLE (14.1 Fact Hunt) in the subject line to [email protected] 

Assignment for Thursday 3/19

Finish the 12.3 organizer using your worksheet and/or poster. These have been posted to the resources page. 

Assignment for Wednesday 3/18

Fill out the graphic organizers for 12.1 and 12.2 using your textbook and/or the posters posted to the resources page. We will be starting chapter 14 next week and will begin submitting certain assignments thru email. 

Assignment for Tuesday 3/17

Please complete the organizers for 11.3 and 11.4. I have posted the organizers and poster pictures the the resources page. Remember, if you were assigned on of the these sections in your group, you don't have to do it again. Also, this work does not have to be submitted to me. You will be submitting work beginning next week. Be safe!

Assignment for Monday 3/16

We will continue with our poster project but obviously, it will be handled a little differently since we are not at school. I have posted the graphic organizers from sections 11.1 and 11.2. I have also posted pictures of the most complete posters that were finished last Thursday. THESE MATERIALS WILL BE POSTED TO THE RESOURCE PAGE (RIGHT SIDE MENU).  
Your assignment for today will be to complete the first two organizers using the posted pictures as well as your textbook. If you were originally assigned one of these sections, you DO NOT have to complete the graphic organizer for that section. This work will not be submitted but will be turned in when we return to school. 
If you don't have access to a printer, the organizers can be completed on a blank sheet of paper.
