CONGRATULATIONS - ENJOY YOUR SUMMER! PLEASE READ

Dear 7th Graders -
 
Grades were sent to the office this morning.  Trimester 3 of the 7th grade is not one we will soon forget.
 
My best wishes  to all of you. 
 
AND! Congratulations to the  brand new MIS 8th Grade class.

WSS PERIOD 6/8th Graders ONLY: Lessons Learned from the movie "Rudy" WRITING ASSIGNMENT

Dear 8th grade WSS students - This is the writing assignment due Thursday - Read carefully!
 
Every year I show the movie "Rudy". A true story.
 
To me the movie exemplifies strength of character, perseverance, commitment and reaching one's goals.

Please respond to the following questions in FOUR well written paragraphs:
1. What qualities did Rudy the person possess that made him ultimately successful? 
2. What qualitie(s) would you like to build within yourself to become all that you want to be.  What qualities will you have to change to become that success story.
3. As you move on to high school grade shortly how will you rethink your commitment to yourself, your education and your goals.
4. Did the story of Rudy inspire you in any way.  Explain why or why not.
