7th Grade WEB Leader Applications

WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) is a transition program where 8th grade WEB Leaders are trained to work with the incoming sixth graders and 7th/8th grade students new too PVPUSD.  After the mandatory trainings in August, WEB Leaders run WEB Rookie Camp, an orientation that happens before the school year starts.  WEB Leaders are responsible for mentoring their small group of WEBBIES and attending WEB lunch events throughout the school year.  
 
WEB Leaders must possess the following qualities: Strong communication skills, willingness to lead others, responsible enough to manage a small group, accountable to attend all phases of the program during the year, interest in helping others, positive role model, dedicated, has a respect for diverse ideas and personalities, enthusiastic, and KIND.
 
Application Process:  Applications open March 25 and close April 22, 2021.  Applicant interviews April 26-30. Leaders announced April 23, 2021.  Spring Play Day Wednesday, May 19, 2021 after school.
 
MANDATORY SUMMER EVENTS - Please do not apply if you cannot attend ALL 3 days.  If virtual, times will vary.
Monday, August 17, 2020 WEB Training in person 8:00 am - 12:00 pm in gym, if virtual 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Tuesday, August 18, 2020 WEB Training in person 8:00 am - 12:00 pm in gym, if virtual 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Wednesday, August 19, 2020 WEB Rookie Camp in person 7:00 am - 1:00 pm in gym, bar-b-que to follow if virtual 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
