Palos Verdes Peninsula Summer School (PVPSS) is excited to share its high school enrollment information for the summer of 2025! All classes run from June 16 – July 24, with the exception of onsite history classes, which will finish on July 10.
Onsite courses are in session four days per week on the Peninsula High School campus from 8:00am – 1:30pm, while the online courses are asynchronous with no attendance (please note that online students submit assignments/exams electronically on each school day).
Also, we are thrilled to offer five amazing workshops! Our workshops each run for one semester, three weeks, except for College Application Prep Jr (one week). Also, they do not give grades or credits, as their sole purpose is to offer enrichment and support. Workshops run for two to three hours each school day, and there is also a great deal of onsite and/or virtual support.
Please see the workshop offerings below:
College Application Prep – Assists incoming seniors with college applications
College Application Prep Jr – Similar to College Application Prep, but for incoming juniors
SAT Prep – Instructs students on both content and strategy involved with the SAT
Algebra 1 & 2 Prep – Provides students taking Algebra 1 or 2 next year with a foundation
Surgery 101 – Allows students to learn about pathology, anatomy, and surgical skills under the supervision of highly renowned surgeon, Dr. Fritz Baumgartner
