Famous Scientist Research Paper: Due Fri 1/5/18. 
 
- We will work on this in class tomorrow, but this is assigned as an at home assignment.
- Please email me your project if you need me to print it. I will be here before school (7:55 - 8:15) and after school (3:00 - 3:30) if you need help.
- This is NOT winter homework/ I have created a timeline so that you may avoid working over the vacation if needed.

Homework: Trimester 2 Notebook

Directions: Please set up your trimester 2 notebook. You may use your trimester 1 notebook if you have enough space to last until Feb 2018. Please make sure your notebook is neat and has a properly formatted COVER, TITLE PAGE, TABLE OF CONTENTS, and PAGE #’s

Cover - Please include your name (first and last), Grade/Subject (7th Grade Science), Period (?)

Title Page - Please include your name (first and last), Teacher (Ms. Tagger), Grade/Subject (7th Grade Science), School (MIS), Period (?), Picture

Table of contents: reserve 4 pages (2 pages double sided). On the first table of contents page please write Date: 11/27 – 3/2, Title: Trimester 2, Page 1 - ___ (leave blank) on the first line.

Page #’s 1 – 20 at bottom corner of the page

Due Friday 12/1

You MUST have your notebook in class daily! You may leave your notebook in class or bring it to class daily.

Reminders:

* Bring a flower Thursday 11/30 for 5 points extra credit. Best option – lily

* Check your score on Aeries and email Ms. Tagger if necessary.

* Bring your headphones to class tomorrow (optional).

Due Monday 11/27 due to holiday schedule.
 
Please have your parent click the link below (Trimester 1 PARENT survey) to fill out the survey.  Notebooks will be sent home tomorrow.  Please check your grade sheet/score and finish any incomplete assignments or corrections by Wed 11/ 22.  As always, please let me know if you have any questions.

Please review the final grade sheet for trimester 1.  I will check notebooks this weekend and return them next week.  Period 1 - 6 students were able to fill in grade sheets in class today.  Any incomplete work (do now and classwork only) should be done over the weekend and turned in on Monday.  Let me know if you have any questions.

*Rubric Correction: We will only use the "Content" portion of the rubric. We will NOT present.  We will divide the total score by 2 to get points out of 10. Sorry for any confusion.  Please e-mail me if you have questions.

Reminder (Discussed in class today): Please complete the attached Unit #1 Science Study Log for homework next week. I am giving it to you early so that you can get a head start.  You will need to study for our test (Unit 1 test 11/16 - 50 points) at least 2 hours (only log 30 minutes per day) by 11/17.  You will turn this log in for homework.  If you would like extra credit feel free to turn it in early. If you do not have your own study method please see my suggestions on page 2. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
