Monday Classwork: Library Orientation Day

HW: R/R 10 mins. on HRC September; Symbolic Mind Part 2: Symbolic Paragraph (due typed Wednesday)

 

Tuesday Classwork: Create Classroom Writing Portfolios; copy down RA#2 Plot Elements Definitions into your spiral.

HW: R/R 10 mins. on HRC September; Symbolic Mind Part 2: Symbolic Paragraph (due typed tomorrow).  Brainstorm will also be collected.

 

Wednesday Classwork:  Turn in Symbolic Mind Part 2 Paragraph and brainstorm.  Finish copying defintions and rollercoaster diagram into your spiral.  Lesson: Plot Elements; watch Pixar Shorts: "Presto" and "Dug's Special Mission."  Fill out the plot elements for each.

HW: R/R 10 mins. on HRC September due Friday

 

Thursday Classwork: (Substitute) Watch "It's Mean, It's Green, It's the Mystery Machine;" write down plot elements (see handout).  Finish writing portfolios.

Wednesday Classwork: Visit the Book Fair.  Begin Symbolic Head (due tomorrow during class).

Homework: Read and record 10 minutes on HRC September. Finish WN#2 Reflection Paragraph (due tomorrow with notes from presentations)
