okay so I'm hoping that you are now ready for step 3 this is our interior space and hopefully you've been successful in building this interior space that contains the cabinets and the windows are all in place. Do something here I didn't do last time I see if he'll let surface right there I miss that I'm not top one and at this point what I want to do is add some color so I want to bring this house to life so I'm going to start by doing some paint work on the walls and I'm going to select from colors here and I'm going to get a lot more colors to choose from so I want to bring my house to Life by adding some colors in so maybe I'll turquoise walls hair I'm very things up a little bit different color so I'll go here give that little bright back to it and I can always if I if I want to color by the way I can go to my sample tool select from the one I just had so as to reconnect with that so I'm going to add those in Hamilton The Cider outside all together here by sampha here for bringing us together or rotate around come on the train simple and it's going to be careful here because I know sometimes with it when I do the the rotate tool that it rotates incorrectly on me and then I lose my peace to here I think that all in last the sample from here to get that in position right there okay so now I'm going to focus on my on my windows so over here from my selections you'll see that I also have glass so I'm going to flex some glass for the windows and I'm going to go ahead and and still let him in a dark room color so you can see it a bit better and I'm going to add all the glass in my windows okay and then I just need to do some something on the window frames so besides Underwood aqua color and see I'm going to take the control key and I'm going to click on the window and you'll see that it will shade all the windows and hopefully you can see the little ruler appearing below so then I click that and it does the whole window okay so ceiling I guess I'll sample my lighter color here and then paint the ceiling on top and now I want to focus on my floor here so with the floor I'm looking at cancel e materials so material can do on the floor you will see there is some synthetic surfaces those are mostly things like carpet that kind of stuff you can put down some tile Stone you can do on the floor carpet or I'm going to go with the hardwood floor so I'm going to collect from this one right here and I'll put my hardwood floors so now I have hardwood floors in everything painted and starting to look more like a real sticks to the next piece is really what brings SketchUp to life is the ability to get items what's known as some furniture into our house, but I want to do is go over here to component components models have been made by other people but they've also been made by companies who are interested in having you put their materials into your house but we can look up Whatever item that we would like and I'mma start with couch look for accounts and you will see that there are we'll come back over six hundred couches that I can pick from almost like this guy look more modern and I'm going to just say insert to my model and you'll see that comes into my model I can move it around someplace I'm just going to set the couch right here now you'll see it has a bounding box around it that has to do with was called groups and components will be looking at this later but if you want to rotate something in your are you box if you want to find is the plus sign hover over the plus sign it's going to allow you to rotate the piece of furniture whatever direction that you want I'm going to want to get into position where I can the top of the box I want to rotate it going to rotate through one of those and actually move 15 degree increments but it can be a little tricky to move the times we got into that position then I'll slide my couch forward and I'm happy with that position the couch I want to just text and let that go so up here then I'm going to go with and you'll see there's lots of televisions over 2,300 televisions here's a TV look see looking for TV that I can put on my wall here I work so no download that TV or does over here and I'm going to get my move tool pick it up and move it over now you can see obviously I want to rotate this so I'm going to zoom in close so I can see the upper portion grab one of these and just rotate that so I can just text that up and I cancer pushed up on my wall here I try to select the right TV for the right job here I'm going to put the TV race gear you'll know the TV is going into the wall to rotate around its to make sure I get it into the correct location that went on the wall but not in the wall pull it out ever so slightly and you can see what it says on face or on green axis that's going to be good but I wanted to be floating away just right there will be good and the TV is now on the wall is slightly smaller one of the tools that can be used to help scale tool should I come over here a skill I get these green scale a TV up to make it a larger television be careful with the scale to fluid people get carried away with it and things aren't the correct sizes we want to make sure things are the correct size and it's going to let me just move that TV back towards the center so I go back to my components and then I'll go ahead and add a lamp in there I can search for a lamp and I'll put the lamp over in the corner here I need some help moving something by the way I want to move it from location so if I'm going to move something along floureon to pick it up by the floor and you'll see It'll slide across the floor if I grab it down into the floor which is obviously quite odd so always grab something by the surface you wanted to move to so I grabbed from the bottom of the lamp and move to the floor and it will fit nicely on the surface need a few items for my shelf here so I'll go with the let's see I'll go to the base severely interesting here hello Lionel select these nice red ones and those are going to go on to my self over here and we can always do men on that grab them by the bottom and just moving down onto the address and remember if you ever get lost just be sent to your house right there let's see I would like a able here this would be a I maybe I need to get more specifically Realty that's a lot of tables there there's over 7,000 a coffee table I hear we got some nice choices for me some certain I'll select that and it comes and you can see this if he rights of this clearly was not done to a scale that I'm interested in something to get rid of that no measurements were done correctly if something looks smaller nice try this one I think I'm going to zoom in on that and just rotate that to that position and then I can always go and crab my this guy right here who don't want to do that to you pretty big model 8.6 megabytes right here a lot for coffee cup and you can see this one is 2.4 or something smaller something that will be done to the correct size let's try this guy so this is people didn't do measurements they made the cop that didn't I'm working on that guy another giant cuff maybe I'll just go with the scale tool and bring this down to size I'm not a fan of people who makes things that are really big like this cuz you know it's not really real world go back to my Elsa stop alarm imma make sure that's sitting on the I have my vases and I have five items in my house so that's what I'm looking for you two have five items in your house make sure that you save the house and then you're going to share that with me so I'm going to say changes and then of course you'll be able to go ahead and share your house back up to me okay so that would be your interior space complete and a good chunk of your assignment so good
