Arc the drawer front, add the drawers, color and use the 3d warehouse.

and good morning welcome to the final installment on the complex table to start modeling here about my SketchUp I hopefully you'll be able to work your way through first portion and at this point you should have the tabletop besides support the legs and the front and back support Serena and a couple more things on here to complete the table at that point we going to place a few items on the table from the warehouse and that will make it complete the table is due on Friday so you'll have time to work on it and solve any issues and you're welcome to reach out to me on Microsoft teams and send me a question and I'll try to get you an answer as best I can message her I can video chat you to help you through the peace so is my complex table open that up and you can see I have my pieces in place you know I got to this point please go back and watch the previous videos and you'll see there's my table starting to look a nice hallway table and I'm ready to start work on the front piece don't want to do at this point is go ahead and let them to do is the front of the table to give this a different appearance so I'm going to rotate around so I can nice cleanview here I wanted you to see what I want to do create an arc your butt before I start what I'd like to do is go ahead and select my tape measure and I'm going to measure up 1 inch from the bottom so when I enter and so I have a spot here now I want to edit this component in order to added the component I need to open my box you can see my box open around the front support now please verify that you only have one box if you David around both boxes that means that you have the component Box open when you made the coffee and you don't want to do that so delete the bank side close the component box coffee it again for the box is only around one piece okay so now I'm my arc tool and I'm going to strike a two-point Arc so this is a little bit tricky because you want to make sure you get in the right spot so you can see it kind of jumps between the leg and the inside piece I want the inside please. Green. Right there so once I reach into their I can go ahead and start to reach all the way over now you see that I can rent a space hear the nice thing is this if I go to my school pull out over and then I go back to my art school it's going to remember my arc so when I reach over to here can I touch that location remember I can see it now I can reach back over here now I can lift up my heart and it's going to lift to the line for me okay so at that point I'm going to take my push pull tool to take this piece I'm going to push it back it will go back to the office that limit if you can't push that piece that means that the box is not open because you cannot add it a component unless the component Box is open so check this out because it is a component with the back piece just like when we did the legs because I start one side the other side also are they are connected to each other in that sense okay so all I have to do now is click off there and that's going to remove the component box now I'm going to add some drawers to the front and what I want to do is go ahead I'm going to do is just take my rectangle tool and then go ahead and pull on the front surface here and there we go so I would like these drawers to be a 3 by 16 so I'm going to say that's three in, 15 in enter the wrong direction habitat I try that again 3 inches I'm almost to the Meg where's my first drawer in position I'm going to rotate around when I want to do is go ahead add and push pull list check to make sure it's here on the surface which I am I'm going to put pullets app Listen to come out one in the first drawer now at this point what I'd like to do is go ahead and make this a component so I'm going to Triple click on the drawer you can see only the drawer highlights then I right click and say make component and I say drawer okay so there's my drawer it's now made what I want to do is go ahead and place this in the correct position for myself so I need to snap a couple guidelines here so I'm going to come what guideline down say one inch from the top and then I'll go into the edge of my leg right there and I'll say one from there it did not work correctly Ariana one enter so now I have this in the position at what I need to do then just go ahead and move this into correct spot to rub your move tool by the corner stay on the surface here Superior and I want to go to that location right there okay so I'm also then going to go ahead and grab my tape measure tool and jump to the other side here and then pull out another line can stay on Surface one enter and now I'd like to do is go ahead and just pull this overcome any other way so I'm going to grab the corner right here slide over on the line get my control key to get the coffee and then drop this one and its location I just want to again rotate around to make sure I'm getting things in the right spot there we go, I have my drawers in their location at the moment so what I'd like to do is make a little bit more realistic and size so I'm going to do what we did before I first of all I'm going to go ahead and open the component box here take my pencil tool and I'm going to cut off a little corner remember we didn't the table top is called Sean Frame so I'll take a little corner off right here then I'll select the front then I will go to my phone me tool and pick my little triangle and all of a sudden both my drawers now have a little more safe to them last thing I'd like to do is add a drawer so I'm going to come down here and select my circle usually take whatever shape that you would like you can do polygons you can do Circle Center here on this line there is and then I'll slide down I'll find the center over here on the midpoint year road is it from the roof when you come back and it shows you where little at 7 to make a circle just right there Here We Go Again push pull that out a little bit okay and then I looks like guidelines how to say delete all guys but I'm not sure where that is off of locate that one you find it let me know and then orbit around you can see my table and do the other portion but I will look underneath your table just to see if you got the pieces in the correct spot on the bottom and that your drawers are on the surface here throwback Panthers what I want to do for some for the paint pot now in my paint pot I have materials right you can pick whatever color you want but I'ma select from the wood choices here let's see in a guy like that dark color right here and remember how you can hold the Ctrl key to select all surfaces so arthritis kipke and I can highlight for that and have my whole table turn that color so right now now my table High what's my last thing I would like to go to is my 3D warehouse and let me select a couple of things for my table maybe I'll start with some books and here we go I'll take a couple of books right here were they can I come and I'll place my books onto the table right here I want to make sure they go on the surface table there we go there a little large doesn't quite the large coffee tables before that's the scale tool in this case you know I'm not too concerned about the size of the books describe from stealing person I can scale it down a little bit so they can fit onto my table so you want ads three items onto your table Bonnie and those items can be anything that you would like let's see I think I'll put my keys on the table let's see if I can find my car keys also be more specific I think and go with car keys here come my car keys I'm going to be a little tricky place I think cuz they're so small standing upright on my like this the keys nail trends Hunter Volvo case so maybe I can rotate things over so it looks like they're lying down on my table and we go the better play some keys on the table and I can do a coffee cup Angel lamp you can do anything you want and there's my Starbucks coffee on the table right there all right I have this complex pool table done I'm going to check your groups and components let me know if you would come what does I know some people have difficulty getting this to work on their time not sure if they solve that problem or not but you can see I can highlight all of these I can do my leg my side support my top with my group on top my front support and my drawer those are all separate components I'm also going to go underneath your table just break quickly to make sure that you attach the thesis correctly that your drawers are on the front and that your support turn on the lights okay there that's it that is your final piece on the table that's due on Friday
