How to cut the skimmer parts

we have been working our skimmer and hopefully you have created your pieces on your cardboard there are a number of ways to check this out if we were in class we would be using exacto knives we're box cutters but obviously we're not and I don't want you to do that necessarily at home so what I'd like you to do is just go ahead and get a nice set of scissors that you have to work with so at this point one of you is going to start with the body and what I want to do is just really quite a bit as precise as possible with my cuts I want to go around the outside so I'm going to round the outside here hold my peace and I want to get the smoothie does require a good set of scissors so hopefully you have some if you are going to use a knife as some kind of box cutter funny socks when I please be careful and make sure that you are keeping your hand away from the blade answer me you want to be behind the blade when you're cutting very exciting here and I'm just going to go ahead and go on and cut right down Lion's Den so ya know my solid lines are going to be cut limes dashed lines are going to be all right so I've now cut out my skimmer portion this piece is a little tricky to hear what I want to do is go ahead and cut but I only want to cut in as far as the other pencil line so I'm just going to cut in about Mark so I create this for a floppy piece right here imma do the same thing on this side right here okay so now I have a 2 flat cut what I want to do is go ahead and Mark my line for folding so do that I'm going to go ahead and take my pain that I have here and imma take my pain and just score of the line so I take the pain and my ruler across this line and imma do that as far as I can get there what I've done now is create a place where it's going to fold so it's in can I get nice.
