days today students will be visiting the table with their social studies classes and during lunch we will have demonstrations and performances in the sandbox area to file it do you like to dance yes I guys's name and grade uh my name is Jake and I'm in seventh grade my name is Kara and I'm in eighth grade my name is this morning were you guys favorite events from 2024 um making it to SOI on Christmas uh power outage Christmas I got seasoned it actually winning so far yeah hi what's your name hi Miss Keller and what was your favorite event from 2024 my favorite 2024 when I got to watch my new boiler makers uh in the March Madness final 4 um and I whipped my brother and sister WS went to Purdue and the 3 of us really got um enjoy I was just watching all the teams we got to the finals they lost they were killed by it but it was still a little fussy there so yeah that's it what was your favorite or what are you looking forward to including game 5 is not going to be as good as far as basketball goes but yeah just um you know looking 42 I like sporting events so probably something um you know sporting related I don't have to think about it maybe I don't think this I don't know the subsequent related I just basketball football watching movie thank you so much I'm glad you can clearly see that the majority enjoyed sporting events the holidays and the beach While others enjoyed kindness let's see what Natasha and Andrew find out about every year at mirrorless we celebrate Yellow Ribbon spread kindness this week is Yellow Ribbon week so we will be interviewing some of your peers and Miss Larson and asking them questions about Yellow Ribbon Week let's get into it hi I'm here with pearl hey Will and what is the theme of spreading rumors to you uh well spreading rumors to me means spreading misinformation and bad things about other people or about so I didn't actually like that and uh it also to me like someone is talking bad about you too so what is the other week mean to you uh to me yellow room week is um a lot about mental health and anti-bullying um because it also stands for suicide prevention and people thank you hi I'm here with Antonio and my question for you is should people hold judges why and why not uh they shouldn't in it but at the same time if someone's like really mean to you yeah it's completely up to you but mostly You Gotta Give Second Chances and try to get and like forget thank you a little bit person spills and Ambassador field and I will be asking her what these yellow means to you um yellow means kind of teamwork and like just hear that tissue others will be working thank you hi I'm here with Regan have you ever had rumors about you or your friends and how did that make you feel uh yes and honestly a lot of rumors I feel like are kind of like big exaggerations of other people actually did like yeah people make mistakes but then everyone starts gaining up on um and getting mad at them for things that were probably like a lot worse than what they really do thank you for sharing okay hi I'm here with Mrs Larson and today we're going to be asking her a few questions about yellow Ruben week so what is yellow every week Yellow Ribbon Week is a week long celebration where we look at anti-bullying tolerance respect diversity all sorts of fun things nice what will we be doing this week to celebrate so we brought back the annual Gallery where students wrote writing pieces to the prompt of Mr Peabody's apples uh which involves rumors and how rumors impact other people and um personal experiences anonymously hung up in the gallery language arts classes walk through and then they come back to class and either discuss or uh write down what response kind of changed or impacted them then we will have lunch of this mix it up is pretty fun and crazy the purpose is to meet new people find someone you don't know ask them a few questions of course we always give you a snack Retreat and um we had 2 lovely 6 seventh grade students make a kindness helps patch in front of the library and Multicultural day that's a big 1 changes this year it's going to be run through social studies class um so teachers will be walking social studies students in there and seeing all sorts of wonderful displays from parent volunteers awesome thank you you're welcome thank you hey guys hope you had a great Yellow Ribbon Week
